Here Comes the Sun

This song has such a positive title that it has been used for several ones. It’s not the one by George Harrison, but he might have heard and liked it since he played the ukulele and was a fan of 1920s songs. It’s a normal 32 bar popular tune in ABAC form with a 16-bar verse.

I simply played the verse and two choruses with three different sounds on cornet. First, with a Harmon mute. I recently tried several ones in Paris and in the end bought the one that is from the original brand called Harmon, named after the inventor Paddy Harmon.

Then the first straight chorus is cornet played in a bucket, and finally I did an open improvised solo.
