My Inspiration
LP Savoy-Musidisc SA 6015
This LP that I think I bought at a very low price many years ago is a French release and has no detailed information about personnel or recording date. But I’ve found out that it’s from a couple of sessions in Los Angeles 1950-52. It has well played arranged dixieland music paired with a couple of feature numbers, some with Jack Teagarden and then this with Matty Matlock that I consider as a pearl of inspired, beautiful clarinet playing.
